Why prices differ by country
- Local purchasing power: many digital products are priced lower in markets where incomes are lower.
- App store price tiers: developers pick a tier, and each country gets its own local-currency price that does not track the exchange rate exactly.
- Exchange rates: prices are set in local currency, so a weaker currency makes the same list price cheaper in US dollars until the provider reprices it.
- Taxes: some countries include VAT in the list price, others add sales tax at checkout based on your billing address.
From list price to what you actually pay
What you pay is roughly the local price at your bank's exchange rate, plus tax, plus the cost of the payment method, plus the cost of anything that goes wrong.
- Exchange rate: your card issuer's rate can differ from the reference rate we use, and many cards add a foreign transaction fee.
- Tax: whether tax is included, and how much, depends on the country and your billing details. Our converted prices do not include it.
- Payment method: using another country's price usually needs that country's card or gift card. Gift cards bought from resellers often cost more than face value.
- Failures: declined payments, balance stuck in the wrong region and double charges cost time and sometimes money.
- For plans where the cheapest country saves only a few percent, such as ChatGPT Pro 5x, the extra cost and effort usually outweigh the saving.
Three things you need before a regional price applies to you
- A store account in that country. App Store and Google Play show the prices of your account's country. Apple asks you to spend your balance, cancel subscriptions and wait for them to end, and add a payment method from the new country before you can switch. Google Play lets you change country only once a year, and your balance may not move with you.
- A payment method from that country, such as a locally issued card or that country's gift card balance. Cards issued elsewhere are often declined.
- The product must be available where you actually are. An app being listed in a store does not mean the service is offered in your location; check the provider's list of supported countries.
Renewals are where it usually breaks
- Balance runs out: when a gift card balance cannot cover the next renewal, the subscription stops.
- Repricing: providers and stores reprice countries, and renewals charge the new price.
- Exchange rates move every day, so the same local price costs a different amount in your currency each month.
- Payment method expires: an expired, blocked or wrong-region card stops the renewal.
- Switching gaps: moving from the App Store to the website, or between countries, means cancelling first. Get the timing wrong and you pay twice or lose access for a while.
Terms of service and account risk
Nobody can promise that an account will not be restricted, and BiWu.Ai does not make that promise. The regional price itself is public; the question is how you qualify for it. Account details, payment method, billing address and how you use the service are judged by the store and the provider under their own terms.
Using details that are not true to get a region can lead to cancelled subscriptions, refused refunds or a restricted account, and the rules change without notice. If stability matters most, subscribe in the country where you actually live, with a payment method in your own name.

A VPN alone usually does not change the price: app stores price by your account's country and billing details, and websites check your payment method and billing address. Setting up an account with details that are not true can break the store's or provider's terms.
Will the price go up when my subscription renews?
It can. If the store or provider reprices a country, renewals use the new price, and exchange-rate changes move the amount you pay in your own currency.
Do the prices on BiWu.Ai include tax?
