Claude Pro costs $20 a month billed monthly, or $17 a month with an annual subscription ($200 billed up front). The annual plan is the only standing discount: Anthropic's support center says it does not offer standard discounted pricing for paid plans.
There is no official free trial of Pro and no individual student price. Below are the options that do exist.

Free trials and promotions
- Anthropic's pricing page and Pro support article mention no free trial of Claude Pro.
- The support article says limited-time promotions run occasionally and that support staff cannot issue coupons.
- Third-party sites describe referral guest passes, but we found no official Anthropic page about them.
Where Claude Pro costs less
Official store prices differ by country; the US price is $20/month. A subscription is billed in the region of your Apple ID, Google account or billing address, and store terms usually require a payment method from that region.
